Resident Employability Program

The Thomaston Housing Authority has implemented a resident employment program that has been on- going the past few years. The program is designed to assist residents in learning employment and self- sufficiency skills in the following areas:

• Grounds/ Lawn Care and Service
• Housekeeping/ Maintenance
• Clerical
• Painting/ Pressure Washing Exterior Surfaces

The main goal in the Employability Program is to help residents by promoting self- employment and to encourage Thomaston Housing Authority residents to work toward independence.

Residents that are interested in being a part of this initiative must be in compliance with all THA housing policies, such as rent, housekeeping, and community service requirements in order to be considered eligible for the program.
